Description

Kruna

Kruna turns a chess game into a calm spatial place. A RealityKit board, weighted Staunton pieces, light, material, sound and haptics give every move presence without obscuring the position.

The tested chess core handles castling, en passant, promotion, check, mate, stalemate and relevant draw rules. Legal targets, last move, SAN move list, FEN, PGN, undo and multiple time controls are built in.

Play a local computer opponent or two-player chess on one device. Games save locally, resume reliably and enter a private archive with result, date and move sequence.

Switch between the spatial 3D board and an accessible 2D board at any time. Orbit, zoom, reset or flip the camera. Sound, haptics, assistance and reduced motion are configurable.

Kruna runs natively on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. Game Center remote play and encrypted nearby-device control are being built; core play remains offline with no Kruna account.

App Store Description

Chess with space, weight, and atmosphere. Kruna brings the complete game to a spatial board. Six switchable worlds give every match its own mood: warm wood and bronze, cool stone and silver, Adriatic limestone, Alpine slate light, cedar wood, or a copper-colored twilight. Play your way • Face the local computer opponent at four difficulty levels. • Play with a friend on the same device. • Choose untimed play or a Bullet, Blitz, Rapid, or classical chess clock. • Show legal destination squares and the last move whenever you like. Complete chess rules Castling, en passant, promotion, checkmate, stalemate, and the standard draw rules are all handled by the game engine. Kruna records moves in algebraic chess notation. You can undo moves in casual play and against the computer. The board at the center Rotate and zoom the 3D position, switch sides, or use the clear 2D view at any time. Music, subtle sounds, and restrained motion accompany the game without distracting from it; on iPhone and iPad, haptics add emphasis to key moments. Music and game effects can be adjusted separately. Continue and look back An active game is saved locally and can be resumed later. Completed games, including their move history, are kept in your private archive on the device. Made for your Apple devices Kruna is designed for iPhone and iPad, with dedicated interfaces for Mac and Apple TV—including keyboard control on Mac and support for the Apple TV Remote.
