Data collection

ReleaseDeck Pro contains no advertising, trackers, or external analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. cgNetsphere receives no usage, diagnostic, or App Store Connect data. Analytics shown in the app are solely reports requested from the user's own App Store Connect account, not analytics about the use of ReleaseDeck Pro.

Data storage

The Key ID, Issuer ID, and private App Store Connect key are stored without synchronization in the system Keychain; the private key never leaves the device. Short-lived JWTs are generated locally and used only to authenticate with Apple. Apps, versions, builds, TestFlight data, reviews, reports, app icons, and prepared changes may be cached locally in protected app storage for offline use. ReleaseDeck Pro does not use iCloud for this synchronization. Cache and credentials can be deleted separately or together.

Data sharing

For live operation, ReleaseDeck Pro connects to Apple's official App Store Connect API, StoreKit, and Apple-provided download and upload locations for reports, app icons, and Store media. The locally generated JWT is sent only to Apple for authentication. Metadata, screenshots, review responses, and other changes are transmitted to Apple only following a corresponding user action. The private key and locally cached account data are not sent to cgNetsphere servers or to advertising, analytics, or data-broker services.

Permissions

The app accesses only files or images the user explicitly selects through Apple's system pickers, such as a .p8 key file or media for Screenshot Studio. Notifications are optional and scheduled as local status alerts. Read-only mode is enabled by default; writing, deletion, and publication actions must be deliberately enabled and confirmed. A diagnostic export is created locally only at the user's request and contains no credentials, JWTs, private keys, or full review text.
